Charts and PDFS Printed chartpacks and PDFs can be purchased through European Crosstitch Company. In many cases, patterns are available in both the printed chartpack (b/w) and a color PDF. Newer projects are often available only as a PDF. Mysteries For the Mysteries, you do not know the look of the DESIGN you will stitch. The only info you get is the materials list, and perhaps an overall theme. Once a Mystery starts, you will get a part of the chart each month for the duration of the project. What You Receive When you pay for a Mystery, you'll become part of the Mystery Yahoo group. In the group, you will download the pattern and receive the password(s) for opening the files. The files contain: -- charts and keys in black/white AND color -- materials shopping list with check boxes -- instructions in English with clear diagrams for Special Stitches and a general "how to" for preparations and use of threads etc -- online help through the Yahoo groups and/or the Support Group. What You Need -- a PC and printer -- the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software -- an unzipping software like WinZIP or other de-compressing software You will find help on enlarging the charts with the Acrobat Reader in the Chatelaine Support Group files - it is very simple and you can enlarge to your OWN needs! Details for Joining Yahoo Groups If you are interested in joining a group, please click on the "Join Now" button on the Yahoo page. You will then get an info mail containing payment information, etc. When your payment has been received (through Paypal ONLY), your membership or chart will be processed within 2-3 days - please do not be impatient while waiting for approval. Your membership message (and please! read it all!) will contain password(s) if some have already been published. Make sure you save them in a secure place and make backups (do this for the charts, too). You will receive automatic files through the Yahoo group - info, materials list and general infos. Please do not delete them. A little bit of “fine print” – please read: You can only cancel a paid membership until one month before the starting date of the group. Cancellations are not possible after this time. Refunds will be 80% of the amount you paid - no exceptions. You can not sell your membership or ANY files for ANY of my online projects, download charts or Mysteries. No exceptions. If you do so, I will take legal action. Selling the files, or printouts, even if you decide not to stitch the pattern, is illegal. If you do not accept this, please do not sign up. One word of caution here, and I hope that you do not misunderstand this: This projects/charts are as copyrighted as any chart you buy in a printed format. This means that you can use the files for yourself only, and are not permitted to "share" the files, parts of them , print-outs etc with other people. I will take legal action against any misuse of my intellectual property as soon as I am aware of it. |
